디파인과 김지희 작가는 ‘Sealed smile 시리즈’ 3가지 작품을 선별해 디파인 플랫폼에서 오는 2일부터 경매를 진행한다. 경매가 진행된 작품은 블록체인 기술을 활용한 NFT로 발행될 예정이다.
NFT 경매를 기념해 디파인과 김지희 작가는 경매 참여자와 낙찰자를 대상으로 특별 상품을 지급할 계획이다. 특별 상품에 대한 세부 사항은 디파인의 공식 사이트를 통해 추후 공개할 예정이다.

김지희 작가는 “미술계에서도 트렌드로 자리잡은 NFT 산업에 디파인과 함께 진출하게 되어 기쁘다”며 “의미 있는 작품을 디지털화하고 앞으로도 디지털 분야에서 다양한 기회를 모색하고자 한다”고 전했다.한편 김지희 작가는 2008년부터 10여 년간 작품 활동을 이어온 유명 작가로 안경과 교정기를 착용한 인물 작품 ‘Sealed smile 시리즈’로 알려져 있다.
